bunch of kids from my church have been raving bout this tumblr thing. i have heard about it but none of my friends seem to be on it. since i fancy myself to be a student of pop culture, who likes to be up to date on things, i figured i’d see what all the fuss was about. i don’t blog. it’s not my thing.
see, i recently turned 25 and i am just beginning to realize how old i really am. i come from a simpler time; a time when internet was dial-up, when sega genesis was the ps3 of the days, and when doing research, us old folks actually had to go to this archaic institution called the “library” and read these things called “books”. so yea, we never had blogging, we never had twitter, we never had facebook.
our phones were as aged as our technology. let’s just say the crappiest phone that we have today, would be a technological wonder back in the day (gasp! your phone has a camera? like an actual camera? as in picture camera? wait, wtf, picture and video??) yea, that’s how we rolled (or didn’t roll) back then. but let’s get back to social networking..
to be continued?
